Astera Labs is hiring a lead firmware QA engineer into its Bengaluru design centre, which builds connectivity silicon - PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, NVLink and UALink - for rack-scale AI infrastructure. The role owns functional, performance, interoperability and stress testing for PCIe switch products, working with the silicon, architecture and firmware teams to build test strategy and both manual and automated coverage. Astera asks for an EE or CS bachelor's degree with a minimum of four years, strong Python scripting, and hands-on PCIe protocol work including analyser trace capture and triage, PRBS, loopback and margining tests.
