Terms of Service
Last updated 13 August 2026 · Version 2026-08-13
These terms are the agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], registered at [REGISTERED ADDRESS], which operates ChipJobs at chipjobs.reyatech.com. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
1. What ChipJobs is
ChipJobs is a curated job board for the semiconductor industry in India — VLSI design and verification, EDA, embedded systems, automotive silicon, packaging and directly adjacent roles. It publishes job listings and lets you search and filter them.
ChipJobs is an information service. It is not an employment agency, not a recruitment consultancy, and not a party to anything that happens between you and an employer. We do not represent candidates to employers, and we are not involved in interviews, offers, salaries or contracts.
2. Where listings come from, and how they are attributed
Every listing on ChipJobs comes from one of four sources:
- Public ATS APIs — the job endpoints that Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, Recruitee, Workable and Personio publish for their customers, used as the vendor intends and without credentials.
- Public company career pages — pages an employer has published for public consumption, reachable without logging in and without accepting any click-through agreement, fetched in line with that site’s robots.txt.
- Direct employer feeds — data an employer sends us under an agreement with us.
- Licensed aggregators — commercial job-data providers whose licence permits display.
We do not collect listings from LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor or Naukri.
For sources other than direct feeds we store structured fields (title, company, location, seniority, skills, salary where stated) and a short excerpt. We do not reproduce the full job description. Every listing names the employer and links to the employer’s original posting, which is the authoritative version. Company names, logos and trade marks belong to their owners; showing a listing is not a claim of partnership or endorsement in either direction.
Removal. If you are an employer and want a listing taken down, email [CONTACT EMAIL] from a company email address. We remove it within five working days, no argument, no reason required.
3. No guarantee of employment, and no guarantee of accuracy
- ChipJobs does not guarantee that you will be contacted, interviewed, hired or paid anything at all. No feature of this site is a promise of a job.
- Listings may be out of date, already filled, withdrawn, or wrong. Job data changes at the source faster than any board can mirror it. Treat the employer’s own posting as the truth and apply there.
- Where a listing carries a verification or freshness label, that label reflects the specific check described next to it. It is an opinion formed from a stated method, not a warranty about the employer or the role.
- ChipJobs will never ask you to pay to apply for a job, and no legitimate employer will either. If anyone claiming to represent a listing on this site asks you for money, a deposit, or your bank or payment details, do not pay, and tell us at [CONTACT EMAIL].
4. If you are an employer posting or supplying listings
By submitting a listing or a feed, you warrant that:
- The role is genuinely open. No ghost jobs, no pipeline-building adverts for roles you are not hiring for, no duplicate reposts to look active.
- The details are accurate — title, location, work arrangement, experience required, and compensation where you state it — and you will tell us or update your feed when the role closes.
- You have the right to publish the content and to grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, excerpt, index and syndicate it while it is live on ChipJobs.
- The content is lawful and non-discriminatory under Indian law, and contains no requirement or preference that Indian law does not permit.
- You will not charge candidates any fee, and you will not use ChipJobs to collect candidate data for any purpose other than the role advertised.
- You will handle any candidate data you receive through us in accordance with the DPDP Act 2023.
We may edit a listing for formatting, categorise it, decline it, or remove it — in particular if it is outside the semiconductor scope of the board, or if we believe the role is not genuinely open. Any free posting period is a time-limited trial whose end date is stated to you when you sign up; it is not an ongoing entitlement.
You indemnify [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] against claims arising from content you supplied to us.
5. Acceptable use
We are a job board built partly from public job data, so it would be dishonest to write a blanket “no automated access” clause here. Instead, here is precisely what we permit and what we do not.
Permitted
- Browsing, searching, reading and applying to listings as an individual looking for work or hiring for a role.
- Copying, saving or sharing individual listings and links — including in a newsletter or a community channel, with a link back.
- Crawling any path that our robots.txt allows, at no more than one request per second, with a User-Agent that identifies you and carries a contact URL. Search engines are explicitly welcome; organic search is how candidates find these roles.
Not permitted
- Systematic or bulk extraction of the listing set — the compiled, de-duplicated, categorised database is the work we invested in, and copying it wholesale is not covered by the permission above. If you want the data, ask us at [CONTACT EMAIL]; a licence may be possible.
- Ignoring robots.txt, evading rate limits, rotating IP addresses or user-agents to avoid blocks, or defeating any access control.
- Harvesting personal data of candidates, recruiters or employees from this site for any purpose.
- Republishing our content in a way that substitutes for ChipJobs, or stripping the employer attribution and source link from a listing.
- Posting content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, misleading about the identity of the employer, or unrelated to semiconductor hiring.
- Probing, scanning, load-testing or attacking the site or its infrastructure, uploading malware, or interfering with other users’ access.
- Misrepresenting who you are, including posing as an employer you do not represent.
We may rate-limit, block or suspend access for breach of this section, and we may report unlawful activity.
6. Accounts
Where the site offers an account, you must give accurate details, keep your credentials to yourself, and take responsibility for what happens under your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. You may close yours at any time; see the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data when you do.
7. Intellectual property
The ChipJobs name, design, code, taxonomy and the compilation of listings are owned by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. Job content belongs to the employer who published it. Anything you submit to us stays yours; you grant us only the licence needed to display and distribute it as part of the service.
8. Third-party links
Listings link out to employer sites and applicant tracking systems. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their forms, or how they handle your data. Their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave ChipJobs.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing is current or genuine.
To the extent Indian law allows, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for lost profits, lost wages, a job opportunity missed or accepted, a hiring decision, or any dealing between a candidate and an employer. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose — which is nil if you paid us nothing.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including liability for fraud.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or withdraw the service, or any part of it, at any time, and we may terminate your access for breach of these terms. Sections 7, 9 and 11 survive termination.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [JURISDICTION CITY], India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of ChipJobs.
12. Grievances
Complaints about content, conduct or these terms go to the Grievance Officer named in the Privacy Policy. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days, in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. Material changes affecting paying employers will be emailed before they take effect.
14. Contact
General and legal contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].
